Carolina is director of the global services department. She has a JD from Universidad Regiomontana (Mexico) and an MFA in Creative Writing from Universidad de Salamanca (Spain). After leaving the Mexican Foreign Service in 2001, Carolina found her passion in linguistics and became a translator and interpreter, which progressed into project management for interpretation, translation and localization. She has also developed and taught translation and interpretation courses at the college level. She now oversees the Global Services division (Remote and Onsite Conference Interpretation events and online meetings), which includes Recruiting, Project Management and Tech Services. Carolina witnessed the growth of Interprenet through the years and couldn't be more thrilled to work in a company that values its employees and is constantly looking at solutions to improve the customer experience when it comes to multilingual services. Interprenet offers the perfect combination of linguistics, people and tech. Carolina is a published author. Her first novel, #Mujer que piensa won First Prize at the International Latino Book Award (2018). Her second novel, Flor de un árbol raro, will be published in March of 2021. She has participated in several short story and essay anthologies. She is part of the New Latino Boom movement and is active in Chicago's Latino literary community.
