Lize de Clercq is a Project Manager in Global Services at Interprenet. She is a lifelong learner, who is eager to learn about new fields, tools, languages and methodologies. She studied sciences and classical languages (Latin and Greek) in high school and went to university twice. She has a master's degree in Business Administration and another in Sociology; she has also done Postgraduate studies in International Relations. She has speaking, reading, and writing fluency in 6 languages: English, French, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, and Dutch.

She started working as a Financial Controller but then became passionate about online communication. She first started a digital skills training company and then helped clients meet their digital marketing objectives. After that, she co-produced a large scale STEAM education event and more recently produced a global virtual conference with over 200 speakers that gathered more than 3600 educators from 60 countries in different time zones.

Her international event project management experience and love for languages are a daily asset to her. She has an enormous admiration for the skills that interpreters possess. They are among the most amazing artists in the world!

Her Project Manager role consists of assigning remote simultaneous interpretation jobs to language interpreters across the globe, ensuring that clients get the interpreters that best fit their event. She also makes sure interpreters are well prepared for events, delivering all information and materials in a timely manner.

Outside of work, you will most likely find her hiking in the Catalan countryside with her two rough collies, doing do-it-yourself home improvements, trying out some new braided hairstyle, or reading fiction and psychological essays.
